Cancellation & Refund Policy

Confirming Your Place

Participation in Ranthambore Watercolor Week is confirmed with an initial deposit of INR 50,000. As spots are limited and arrangements begin well in advance, participation can only be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. Safari access can only be guaranteed for participants confirmed by July 2026.

The balance is payable by October 20, 2026.

Deposit

The INR 50,000 deposit is non-refundable. It is used to secure programme planning, accommodation commitments, artist schedules, and safari permits that are booked in advance against confirmed participant names.

Cancellation by Participant

In case of cancellation by participants, the deposit of INR 50,000 is non-refundable. As accommodation, logistics, artist commitments, and safari arrangements have been confirmed, refunds are not possible.

However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. In cases of serious illness, accident, bereavement, travel restrictions, or other genuine force majeure situations, Artara will review requests with care and seek fair and reasonable solutions where possible.

Depending on circumstances and recoverable costs, this may include:

  • A partial refund
  • Transfer of participation to a future Artara programme
  • Transfer of the booking to another participant (subject to approval)

Force Majeure

In circumstances beyond reasonable control — including government travel restrictions, geopolitical disruptions, natural events, or significant transport interruptions — Artara will review situations individually and work towards fair and reasonable outcomes where possible.

Cancellation by Organiser

In the unlikely event that Ranthambore Watercolour Week is cancelled by Artara, participants will receive a full refund of payments made to the organiser. Artara cannot be held responsible for independent travel arrangements, visa costs, insurance, or accommodation booked separately by participants.

Travel Insurance

As participants may be travelling from different locations, including internationally, we strongly recommend obtaining travel and medical insurance, including cover for cancellations, travel disruption, and unforeseen circumstances.
